KsSeed is an Eco-Business driven by researchers, operating through seed production contracts, packaging, and marketing, while providing technical vegetable cultivation support to farmers, agricultural communities, and vegetable farms across Cambodia.
1. A "Eco-Business" enterprise that operates from A to Z (from vegetable seed research to the final farmer's harvest).
2. The very first Cambodian-owned company to start in the field of vegetable seed production (covering the full production cycle), creating numerous job opportunities and improving the livelihoods of many local people.
3. Researching traditional local vegetable varieties for seed production (OP) and developing new parental lines (F1).
KsSeed originated from the pilot production of the '25a' yardlong bean variety. After our initial production yielded successful results, we distributed these seeds as samples to farmers and communities in target provinces to test and demonstrate our seed quality.
Following this successful trial and gaining farmer trust, we officially registered the company and began distributing packaged seeds to agricultural input dealers while providing direct technical support to farmers on the ground. We subsequently expanded our market presence to include additional seed varieties and initiated vegetable seed purification contracts with local farmers and communities.
Today, we continue to scale our operations and market reach by prioritizing seed quality and establishing a vast network of partners throughout Cambodia. Beyond focusing on high-yield and climate-resilient varieties, K S SEED CO.,LTD. plays a vital role in uplifting household livelihoods by supporting vegetable cultivation for home gardening, commercial farming, and collaborative seed production contracts.
